BSSU's newest team member, Chris Bourne, has achieved the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management following a recent three day ITiL course with the Knowledge Academy.
ITiL is a best practice framework for IT Service Management. It advocates that IT services are aligned to the needs of the business and support its core processes. The framework provides guidance to organisations and individuals on how to use IT as a tool to facilitate business change, transformation and growth.
"It was an interesting and useful course", said Chris, "and there was a lot of information to digest during the three days. I am pleased to have passed the end of course exam and I feel my knowledge will greatly inform my work".
Chris, who joined BSSU in March as a Web Support Officer, is the third team member to achieve ITiL certification as colleagues Abrar Ullah and Jay Beavan have also gained the qualification.
