The workshop will be held at: Velindre Cancer Centre, from 13.00 to 17.00
Health Education and Improvement Wales, Working in partnership with 1000 Lives Improvement have developed a unique QI Training programme for both doctors in training and trainers, to provide high quality training in the principles of QI and access to QI training resources to support innovation and excellence in healthcare.
This introductory half-day session is designed for trainers and trainees who are new to Quality Improvement.
The interactive session includes:
· An outline of the role of Quality Improvement as part of postgraduate training in UK
· Overview of HEIW Quality Improvement Skills Training programme and how trainers and trainees can engage with the programme.
· Introduction to some of the methodology and principles that underpin Quality Improvement.
· Signposting to additional training resources and educational support for the development of QI projects developed by specialty trainees and trainers undertaking their own projects.
The workshop is free to attend. Places are limited and early registration is advised.
